		<description>I was reticent to post a link to the blog that carries a copy of the letter. The professors that writes it is so self important that I did not want point any traffic his way - fortunately, his Alexa rank is over 27,400,000 so only .2 to .3 people a month read it. However, I thought it was important to see as a prime example of what is wrong with eductaion in the country today.

I actually believe that it would not matter if we abolished the Department of Education, or increased funding a hundredfold. Clearly there is a depravity that has taken hold in the form of radicalized educators.

They thrive on the suppression of competing ideas and thus do not educate, they only indoctrinate. No I know I am generalizing, but I have seen in in interactions with teachers from my sons High School as well, the examples abound every where.

No, the only solution to the problems with the public education system is to drive a stake through its heart with vouchers. Please get involved in this issue on your state level. The future of the Nation is critically linked to the competition of ideas. Tenure and the strength of the NEA have severely crippled the free expression of diverse opinion on todays college campus.
